Claustrophobia.

Claustrophobia

So many people...there were so many people.

She turned around, desperate for some refuge where her body could numb out.

The noise...so much noise.

Her migraine raged. Any noise, the shoes on the freshly-washed floor, the rumble of voices in the hallways, and even her own thoughts, set off another pulse of excruciating pain.

She turned again, trying to spot a familiar face.

There was none. She was alone, but the room was crowded.

She could barely breath. Suddenly the florescent lights were blinding to her eyes.

She swallowed; her mouth was dry now.

Tears of fright and anger gathered in her eyes. She blinked them back to the best of her ability.

She tried to calm down; she had to get out.

She took a few steps, noticing the glass double-doors for the first time.

She ran out without a second though, gulping down the fresh air.

It was sad that her insecurities and claustrophbia had escalted to this effect.

BPOV

“You two are so cute!”

“Aren't they?” Alice shrieked. “They have the cutest moments, too.”

Everyone nodded.

Edward was beaming, his eyes were sparkling. He moved next to me and put his arm around my waist. He leaned down to whisper in my ear, “I--

He stopped because everyone was watching us.

“What?” Edward and I said in unison.

Alice broke out in giggles, “Awww!”

My nose scrunched up in embarrasment. I turned and hid my face in Edward's neck.

“Awww!”

“Stop!” Edward and I said in unison, again.

Edward chuckled, “I feel like I'm on one of those TV shows where they put cameras in the house and everyone watches me.”

“Me too.” I whispered.

Alice and Shaina were having a debate on something else, but Esme was still watching us. She beamed. Edward beamed back, and I smiled softly.

“Now, why don't we get back to working out the ‘war’?”

EPOV

We all froze.

“What exactly are you doing here?” I asked vemonously.

Seeing as this is, essentially, a writing blog, and all it's been is intros and links recently, I feel that I should post some writing.

Chapter 20 of Superbia:

He was standing there.

Just there, looking at me pitifully with his dark eyes.

“You came,” he murmured, stepping towards me and reaching his arm out towards me.

“Don't.” I said, flinching away.

He lowered it. “But it's okay, now, Bella!” He said happily. “Alice is coming back!”

“She is?!” I asked, momentarily shocked.

“Yes!” He smiled beautifully. “And she and Jasper can get married again, and you and I can be together again, and Flynn will be happy to have Alice happy, and then we can all be happy again, and go back to normal and be happy again!”

He looked so hopeful, so sure of all of this, as 'happy' flew from his lips repeatedly, that I hated myself more than ever for letting the next words slip through my pink lips.
