“Uh, Bella.” I said awkwardly.
“I know, I know, my dress.” Bella giggled, blushing. “This is why I can't borrow them from Alice or Rosalie now. They always get damaged.”
“Yeah...” My voice trailed off as my eyes traced down Bella's legs; her gown had been ripped at about mid-thigh by a green laser that had unexpectedly flashed. Luckily, she had jumped away, saving her legs, but not her dress.
(A/N: Just in case anyone saw Get Smart [if not then go see it!], I got the inspiration for this scene way back from the movie when she ripped her dress in half. I'm not going to re-do the whole scene, just that the dress is ripped.)
I quickly brought my eyes up as to not let her catch me staring at her exposed legs...no matter how much I wanted to stare at them more...
I shook my head, clearing it somewhat. “At least we got passed that, right?”
“Ye—” Bella stopped talking abruptly as we heard footsteps. Her body stiffened as we heard a man's voice. “Hide. Now.”
I searched the corridor with my eyes, and they landed on a door. “Here.” I grabbed her arm and started pulling her along.
“My heels are clacking!” Bella whispered worriedly.
I quickly swooped her up in my arms, bridal style and kept moving towards the door. I opened it to reveal...a small closet.
“It's all we've got!” Bella got down slowly, took off her heels, and pulled me into the closet.
The closet was smaller then it looked, leaving me pressed against Bella. The only sound was our heavy breathing.
“Shh.” She whispered, her breath fanning out across my neck. I shivered.
I tried to move for more room, I didn't want her uncomfortable, even if I loved where I was. But the only thing I accomplished was making my lips closer to hers.
The footsteps neared closer to the door and my breathing picked up, becoming louder.
“Stop breathing so loud.” Bella hissed.
“I'm sorry, I can't control it.”

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas.
Her chest was so tight with grief it hurt.
Everything hurt.
It hurt to hold back the tears.
It hurt to see how shallow she really was.
Everything hurt.
Two presents.
One bag.
One envelope.
One pair of pajamas, one sweater.
One fifteen dollar iTunes card.
It hurt.
She knew she was lucky. She knew that her most expensive and best gift was already opened, set up on the table, humming with life.
Her laptop.
But somehow, that wasn't enough for her.
Shallow.
Her stomach tightened, it hurt so bad.
Her eyes tingled. That hurt, too.
Christmas didn't feel like christmas.
It felt like a thursday.
Just a normal, dreary, awful thursday.
Except she wouldn't get to see her best friend.
That hurt.
Her aunt walked into the room. Happy.
She got up, plastering a smile on her face.
It hurt to breath.
She hugged her aunt, thanking her.
She walked back to her spot on the couch, and looked outside.
It didn't look like Christmas.
Sunny, with the bits of snow that hadn't melted still there.
“Merry Christmas,” She whispered to herself.
{*}{*}{*}
I hope you all are having a better Christmas then me.
Also, Im entering a poetry contest. Im entering three of my poems: Tainted, Happiness, and Just This once.

Kate & Mari Make a Fanfic.
Hey. As you may or may not have read in my latest post in my blog (This is Kate), Mari and I wrote a Twilight fanfic about Leah Clearwater/Jacob Black.
(SPOILER ALERT.)
It takes place at Bella and Edward's wedding, in Breaking Dawn, after Jacob grabs Bella trying to convince her not to do anything on her honeymoon. (Except that Leah is there.) Mari and I wrote what SHOULD have happened, in our opinions. This was all done over texts last night, hope you enjoy!
"Get off her!" Edward cried.
Seth and Leah Clearwater ran over to where Edward had yelled, trying to see what had happened.
Bella, scared for both herself and Edward, ran to find Esme or Alice, leaving her new husband alone with the pack.
Leah had chosen to dress up for once. I mean, it was a wedding. And even though Jacob had been telling himself he hated her, he couldn't help but be impressed as she ran over to him with her brother. For a little while, Leah's looks even had him wondering what he ever saw in Bella.
Edward smiled at Jacob's thoughts. Without the mutt chasing his wife around, they might fully get to enjoy their honeymoon.
But that didn't fully control Edward. He was still so angry that he sent his rock-hard fist flying straight into Jacob's jawline in a punch that'd even do damage to a werewolf. Jake began to fall with a muffled cry of pain, before going completely unconscious.
Leah, twitching with anger and using all her strength to stop from phasing, ran to Jacob's side, catching him right before he fell to the shadowy ground. "You leave him alone!" she snarled at Edward. The female werewolf was now holding Jake so that he was laying across her lap, (as she was on the ground- It's not like she cared whether her dress got dirty or not) and covering his body protectively against any more punches that may be headed his way. But that's when Edward stopped. He saw no point in punching Leah.
Jacob Black was out cold.
"Jake? Jake, can you hear me?" Leah asked him affectionately. Then, as if just realizing she wasn't alone, Leah snapped back to her old self. "Uh... I mean, Goddamnit Jake, get up and kick this leech's sorry ass!" She turned to Edward, who was watching the scene with a smile. "Bloodsucker!" she spat at him. As soon as Leah saw Bella running back over to her husband she snapped, "Leechlover!" Why had the human girl gotten the happy ending? It was so unfair.
"Edward! Edward, darling, what happened?! I heard Leah screaming... Edward, are you okay?!" Bella asked, frantically and out of breath.
Leah stuck out her tongue. Thanks to Sam, any form of love made her sick. Any form of love, that is, except for what she felt for Jacob Black.
"Yes, love, I'm fine," Edward smiled, "Leah, tell Jacob we appreciate him coming. But why don't you and the pack get something to eat and then take off?"
"Fuck you, leech! We'll leave when we want to!" the Quiluete girl yelled. She looked down lovingly at the man she was still holding. Why did he have to be in love with Bella?
"Actually, Leah," Jacob's husky voice made her heart leap, "I think he's right. Maybe we should leave."
The relief she felt over hearing his voice overpowered her, and she threw her arms around him. "Oh, thank God you're okay!" she blurted out. Everyone stood there, confused. "Uh..." she stuttered, removing her arms, "I mean, now I don't have to drag your dead weight down to La Push."
"Always such a lady," commented Jacob, who now got up and dusted off his black pants casually.
"Jake, you ok? That looked like it hurt," Seth asked.
Bella, who had missed the whole thing, asked, "What hurt?"
"When I bruised your husband's ego," Leah joked lightly, smirking.
"Uh.... ok," said Bella, not quite getting the joke. She turned to Edward and asked, "Honey, this is gonna sound weird from me, but it's our wedding so... you wanna dance?"
"Of course." Edward smiled brilliantly, taking Bella's hand as they walked toward the dancefloor. Leah stuck out her tongue and muttered, "Saps."
Bella had it all, Leah thought. Plus, the most wonderful guy in the world loved her, and she didn't even care! What a stupid bitch.
Leah turned to Jacob, who was now staring at her. "What?" she snapped.
Jacob shook his head, thinking of the all-too-true song lyrics, 'if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with.'
Seth's whining broke through his thoughts. "Do we really have to leave now?"
"We don't have to," his sister answered softly. Jacob's gaze was filling her with so much affection that she couldn't manage her usually sharp tone.
Jacob kept shaking his head, thinking of that damn song. He glanced at Bella and then at Leah, comparing the two. Who, who to choose? They were both looking so beautiful.
So he started thinking. Leah had always been there for him. They were, despite their constant bickering, best friends. And hadn't she just protected him from Edward?
Leah. Leah. Leah. The name began to take on a new meaning in Jacob's mind.
Leah Clearwater was tough, and the one girl he was sufficiently (and reasonably) scared of- the exact opposite of Bella Swan.
"Hey assface, I said me n' Seth are gonna get sumthin' to eat, are you comin'?" she asked him, breaking him out of his daze. Wow. How had that line given him butterflies in his stomach?
"Yea," Jacob said quietly, taking one last look at Bella. She was dancing with Edward- she was happy. Now he could finally be happy, too.
"Alright, c'mon, dickhead."
Seth smiled at his sister's bitter comments.
The three shape-shifters were at their table eating when Jake asked, as if out of the blue, "Leah, wanna dance?"
Leah almost choked on her food. "W-what?"
"You don't mind getting trampled on?" Seth asked, shocked. His sister slapped his arm. "Seriously, man... she can't dance."
Leah got up, grabbing Jacob's rough hand. "I'll show you dancing."
Jake smiled. Only Leah Clearwater could turn dancing at a wedding into a competition.
He lowered his hands on her waist, and they both felt each other's hearts speed up.
Edward, at his own table with Bella, watched them and read their thoughts with satisfaction.
Edward peeked at Jacob from the corner of his eye, smiling. Bella looked over at him as well and whispered something quietly into her husband's ear.
Jacob pulled Leah in closer to him. They both held each other tightly, not wanting to let go.
"Leah," Jake whispered into her ear, seductively.
"Yea?"
"You suck at dancing."
Leah smiled. "I know."
When the song ended, they turned to go back to their table, where Edward was waiting for them.
"Damnit leech, can't you leave us alone for once?!" Leah yelled. Then she stiffened as she realized her words. She had made them sound like a couple.
Edward laughed out loud. "And by 'us' you mean...?"
"Me and Jake," Leah answered coldly.
Edward looked down at their hands, which were still interlocked.
"I see," Edward smirked.
Then Bella walked over, and noticed their hands. "Aww, are you two...?"
Jacob and Leah looked at each other, and then quickly removed their hands. "No!" they cried in unison.
Bella looked disappointed. "Aww, too bad, you guys would be cute together. Hey, Edward... we should get over to Alice, she wants pictures."
Edward sighed. "Of course she does."
When the newlyweds had left, Leah asked in outrage, "What was that stupid leechlovers' little comment all about?!"
"Well, we were holding hands, it might've looked like we were a couple." Jacob scratched his head, and his answer only seemed to get Leah madder.
"Why are you always defending her?! Make up your fucking mind, Jake!"
Jacob was startled. "W-what? I was just saying-"
"Oh please! Get over her already, she's married now!"
"Look, I was just-"
"Ok, sure sure," Leah quoted him, even imitating his voice. "You just wanna avoid the fact that you will never have her!"
"I could say the same thing for you and Sam." Jacob said, his eyes suddenly cold. "Leah, you're such a bitch. Here I was thinking you were actually gonna be decent. Guess I was wrong." With that, he shoved his hands in his pockets and started to walk away.
"Wait," Leah said. Jacob turned to face her. She moved in close to him and suddenly couldn't take it anymore; her lips violently moved onto his.
Jacob gasped in surprise and pleasure, and Leah slipped her tongue into his mouth. "Jake, you have to understand..." she said against his lips.
Jake kissed her back intensely, running his hands all over her back. "I do understand... more than... you will... ever... know", he managed to say when his mouth was free.
"Say it," Leah almost begged.
Jacob managed to tear his mouth from hers to mutter exactly what leah wanted- no, needed- to hear: "I love you."

Collision; Chapter 12; teaser.
The same growling sounded, and I smelt the werewolf again. Bella stiffened, wrinkling her nose.
“He followed us.” I growled angrily. Me in danger was fine, but putting Rosalie and the rest of the family in danger was not acceptable.
“Bella—in the house, now.” I ordered.
“No.” Bella said back. “No way is this...mutt going to be left alone with you.”
I could smell my family in the living room and prayed that they wouldn't look out the window.
But of course they did, and I heard heavy gasps.
The werewolf's head moved from in between me and Bella, probably trying to decide which of us to attack first. I could see his eyes linger on Bella, gauging her based only on her semi-petite form.
The werewolf put his huge paw out, taking one small step toward her.
Bella crouched down, her eyes murderous, and let out a growl that made the werewolf shiver slightly.
The family was quietly making their way toward us. Edward's face was twisted in agony, along with Esme and Carlisle. Jasper and Alice had an odd sense of worry, along with Shaina.
The werewolf made a move to step closer to Bella, and she growled again.
It crouched back, ready to pounce.

Don't and Just This Once.
Don't.
Don't try changing me,
Don't try blaming me,
Don't try saving me,
Don't try fixing me,
Don't try scolding me,
Don't try preaching to me,
You're better off not trying.
——————————
Just This Once.
It's when you turn, and catch my eye.
And everything is displayed.
I can see you're guilty.
If only you'd say it aloud.
Just this once.
It's when we turn and face each other.
And we half-smile lightly, like we have too.
I can see you're sorry.
If only you'd say it aloud.
Just this once.
It's when you have to do something,
And it involves me.
I can see you don't mind it.
If only you'd say it aloud.
Just this once.
It's when I look, and see you there.
And you stop, and meet my eyes.
You can see I'm unhappy.
I can see you care.
If only you'd say it aloud.
This one time.
—————
My favorite out of those two is Just This Once. It's one of my top ones I've written. It's one of those works that you get an idea for and you write it out and you don't have to edit it because you already think it's as good as it can be.
I love those.
Anyway, this one is one of favorites, after 'Untitled', 'Pot', and 'When'.
I hope you enjoyed them.
